Year 3 pupils from Waycroft Academy had an exciting and educational day out exploring the exhibits at We The Curious.
The visit was packed with hands-on activities and interactive learning opportunities, sparking curiosity and a love for science among pupils.
A highlight of the trip was a dedicated light and shadow workshop, where pupils discovered the wonders of light.
They learned how to split light into a spectrum of colours using a prism, experimented with the angles of light reflection using mirrors, and observed how the size of shadows changes based on their distance from the light source.
The engaging activities brought classroom science lessons to life and inspired creativity among the young learners.
A spokesperson from Waycroft Academy said: “Our Year 3 pupils had an incredible day exploring and experimenting at We The Curious.
“The light and shadow workshop was especially exciting, and it was wonderful to see the children so engaged in hands-on science activities.
“It’s experiences like these that help develop a lifelong love of learning.”
The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all and will undoubtedly remain a memorable highlight of the school year.
