Reception children at Waycroft Primary Academy have thoroughly loved their very own Worthy Farm festival experience at school.
‘Glasto Day’ brought all the excitement and fun of the world-famous Glastonbury Festival to the academy, with pupils enjoying a packed programme of festival-themed activities throughout the day.
Children dressed up backstage before taking to the main stage to perform live music, camped out in a dedicated camping area, snapped memorable selfies in the photo booth, and cheered on their friends in the Glasto Café. The celebrations also included lots of bubble play and a variety of other festival experiences designed to spark creativity, confidence and fun.
A spokesperson said: “Our Reception children had an absolutely fantastic time celebrating their very own Glasto Day.
“It was wonderful to see them fully embrace the festival spirit, whether they were performing on stage, exploring the camping area or enjoying time with friends.
“The day provided so many opportunities for imaginative play, confidence-building and creating special memories that children will be talking about for a long time to come.”
